Before the Baby is Born

Region of Waterloo Public Health offers information and resources to help you make lifestyle choices that will contribute to a healthy pregnancy. Taking care of yourself during pregnancy will help you and your baby stay healthy.

Here you will learn about planning a pregnancy, healthy pregnancy, complications during pregnancy, HIV testing in pregnancy, preterm birth prevention, labour and birth, prenatal services, and baby's first car seat.

To learn more, attend a free Prenatal Health Fair offered a few times a year to pregnant moms and dads.
