Dental Clinics
We operate two dental clinics, one in Cambridge and one in Waterloo. Both are staffed by dentists, dental hygienists and dental assistants.
The clinics care for eligible children and adults.
Children receive free basic services, including checkups, cleaning and fillings.
Adults receive limited services to eliminate pain. There is a $10 assessment fee for adults each time they seek treatment, and there may be additional fees for some procedures. Once an adult's dental problem is assessed, the client is given a date for treatment or, if necessary, referred to a specialist.
Who Is Eligible
All potential patients must complete an application form to determine eligibility. The following are some of the requirements we look for:
- Must live in the Region of Waterloo.
- Children under 18 attending school in the region whose family does not have dental insurance and does not qualify for other assistance programs.
- Adults age 18 and older who do not have dental insurance, do not qualify for other assistance and for whom the cost of dental treatment would cause financial hardship.
The eligibility form can be filled out at the clinic or over the phone by calling 519-883-2222, select option #2 (for Waterloo clinic) or option #3 (for Cambridge clinic).
