Growing Bodies Open Minds

Talk to your children about puberty, sexuality and values.

This program is being offered by Region of Waterloo Public Health to parents of school-aged children.

Growing Bodies, Open Minds is a 2.5 hour introductory session facilitated by public health nurses using small group activities combined with large group discussions.

Many parents are concerned about the vast amount of sexual information currently available to children. Often they wish to take a more central role in their children's education with regard to puberty, sexuality and values. We hope to facilitate this by providing parents with an opportunity to explore issues around sexuality and values clarification as it pertains to their children.

If your group is interested in this program, please contact 519-883-2267. There are a limited number of sessions offered each year on a first come, first serve basis.
