International Travel Clinic
Immunization and medication may be recommended for Canadians travelling to foreign countries. Region of Waterloo Public Health provides pre-travel counselling, immunizations and medication needed to stay healthy while away from home.
Recommended immunizations are based on an assessment of risk factors, including:

Fees
There is an administrative fee to attend the clinic and a fee for most of the vaccines. OHIP does not cover travel consultations, but some vaccines may be covered by employer or personal drug plans. Check with your insurance provider.
Make an Appointment
Our travel clinic does not provide telephone consultation. Appointments are required. We recommend you book an appointment four to six weeks prior to travelling.
