Blood Borne Infections

Blood borne infections are spread by way of blood to blood contact with an infected person. People can be at risk for getting these infections by having unprotected sexual contact and/or by sharing injection drug use equipment. These infections are not spread by water or food, or by casual daily contact at home or elsewhere.
