Signs of Drug Overdose

Be Prepared

  • Learn the following signs of drug overdose:
  • The person does not wake up or react to loud noises.
  • Slow or shallow breathing or not breathing at all.
  • Making gurgling, snoring or choking noises.
  • No pulse, or weak pulse.
  • Lips and fingernails turn blue, skin is pale.
  • Chest pain.
  • Seizures, uncontrollable twitching or convulsions.
  • Overheating - hot dry skin - but person not sweating.
