H1N1 vaccinations now open for everyone
Dr. Liana Nolan, Medical Officer of Health, announced that effective today, anyone who would like to receive the H1N1 immunization may do so at any of the upcoming Region of Waterloo Public Health community clinics.
“We have a sufficient supply of the H1N1 vaccine to allow us to offer it to anyone who would like to be immunized” said Dr. Nolan. “We have recently added two new clinics to our schedule (one on November 23 in Waterloo, and one on November 30 in Kitchener) to make attending a clinic more convenient for people. H1N1 illness is still present in our community, so we encourage everyone to attend a clinic, or contact their physician to be immunized.”
