Public Health announces additional H1N1 immunization clinic dates and
releases the clinic schedule for the month of November
Region of Waterloo Public Health will hold two additional community H1N1 influenza immunization clinics this Saturday, October 31st for all residents over the age of six months.
“We have received an additional supply of the H1N1 influenza vaccine, and this has allowed us to offer two additional clinics this weekend” says Karen Quigley-Hobbs, Director of Communicable Disease. “The province has ordered enough vaccine for everyone in the province to be immunized so we’re announcing these two news clinics as well as the proposed clinic dates for the month of November. Members of the public are advised, however, that future dates may be cancelled if Public Health does not receive adequate supply of the vaccine.”
Updated clinic lists will continue to be announced on Thursdays with details of the following week’s clinics. Please refer to Waterloo Region’s pandemic website (www.waterlooregionpandemic.ca) and the Region of Waterloo website (www.region.waterloo.on.ca) for the most up-to-date information. Those without internet access are invited to phone 519-883-2289 for clinic times and general H1N1 information.
